Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) seeks a licensed social worker to support K-12 students with additional social-emotional services in in-district classrooms and schools.

Collaborate with school teams to deliver counseling, individual or group services, and data-driven supports that align with IEP/BIP goals. You will participate in IEPs, implement PBIS-informed strategies, complete assessments, and partner with families and external providers to promote student success.Competitive

Qualifications

• Professional licensure in LPC/LCPC, LCSW or LMSW, LMFT or LMHC.
• Master’s degree in social work, human services, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with children/adolescents in school, special education, or behavior health settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students from varying backgrounds.
• Provide individual, group, or classroom counseling services per IEP/BIP.
• Collaborate on IEPs including social-emotional goals and meetings.
• Complete social-emotional assessments and develop behavior plans.
• Assist with crisis management and safety procedures when needed.
• Support social-emotional learning through curricula and targeted interventions.
• Coordinate with external partners to support students and families.
• Maintain student files per regulatory requirements.

Education

Licensed professional licensure (LPC/LCPC, LCSW or LMSW, LMFT/LMHC)

Master’s degree in social work or related field

2 years of school/behavior health experience
