Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a local contract School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a local contract job in Cleveland, Texas. The 13‑week assignment runs 30 hours per week with 8‑hour daytime shifts across school days.

The SLPA may assist the supervising SLP with evaluations, implement IEP goals, provide direct therapy, and collect data to report progress in a timely manner, supporting student needs in the district.

Qualifications

• Active Texas SLPA license if required by that state.
• American Heart Association BLS.
• At least one year of recent relevant experience preferred.
• School experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• SLPA may assist SLP-CCC with evaluations and screenings.
• SLPA will implement individualized education plan developed and directed by the supervising SLP.
• SLPA will provide direct therapy services addressing treatment goals developed by the supervising SLP to meet the needs of the student.
• SLPA will collect data and document student performance and report its information in a timely manner.
