Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to support students in a Schertz, Texas school district. The SLPA collaborates with the supervising SLP to implement IEPs and deliver direct therapy aligned with treatment goals.

Experience with school settings is preferred but not required, and licensure requirements for Texas must be met. The role emphasizes data collection, timely reporting, and close coordination with district staff to support student success.

Qualifications

• Active Texas SLPA license if required by that state.
• American Heart Association BLS.
• At least one year of recent relevant experience preferred.
• School experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• SLPA may assist SLP-CCC with evaluations and screenings.
• SLPA will implement individualized education plan developed and directed by the supervising SLP.
• SLPA will provide direct therapy services addressing treatment goals developed by the supervising SLP to meet the needs of the student.
• The SLPA will be expected to collect data and document student performance and report its information in a timely manner.
