Job summary

Canyon County School District is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an on-site, contract opportunity in Canyon County, CA. The role provides direct therapy, evaluations, and support for students with speech and language needs in a school setting.

Responsibilities include delivering therapy aligned to IEP goals, conducting evaluations, and collaborating with educators and families to support communication outcomes under district and state guidelines.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• CA SLP license with ASHA CCCs preferred.
• Previous school-based experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of IEP processes and special education compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals.
• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and write detailed reports.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation and service logs in compliance with district and state guidelines.
• Support students with articulation, fluency, voice, and language disorders.
• Provide consultative support to staff regarding speech and language strategies.
• Ensure services align with state and federal special education regulations.
