Job summary

EDU Healthcare seeks a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for on-site roles in California. The position may be full-time or part-time and begins ASAP. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat students, develop IEPs, and collaborate with educators and families to promote student success throughout the school year.

The role emphasizes team-based planning, ongoing documentation, and participation in IEP meetings, with a focus on delivering high-quality services in a district setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Active SLP license in CA or eligibility to obtain prior to start.
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates encouraged to apply.
• Experience with school-aged children is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s needs
• Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication goals
• Maintain detailed records and progress reports in accordance with policies
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on goals and progress
• Stay current with best practices and continue professional development as required
