Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a contract role in a school setting serving Pre-K through 12th grade. You will perform speech and language assessments, create individualized intervention plans, and collaborate with families and teachers to ensure goal attainment.

You will participate in IEP meetings, document progress, and deliver engaging therapy in both individual and small-group formats. This role emphasizes student growth and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Experience with pediatric populations (Pre-K–12).
• Ability to tailor treatment plans across developmental stages.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech, language, and communication assessments for students from Pre-K through Grade 12.
• Develop and implement customized intervention programs to address student needs.
• Consult with families, teachers, and staff to support student progress and carryover of goals.
• Document evaluation results, progress notes, and reports in compliance with school and legal standards.
• Assist IEP meetings and help set measurable student objectives.
• Deliver dynamic therapy sessions in both one-on-one and group settings.
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities.
