Job summary

TheraPeds Partners in Roeland Park, KS is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves delivering school-based speech therapy, developing IEP goals, and collaborating with educators and families. It offers guaranteed hours, dedicated planning time, and a manageable caseload.

Compensation is $56.50–$61.75 per hour, with 20–22 hours weekly, spanning Oct 2026 through May/June 2027, and includes W-2 benefits and professional support.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Current CCC-SLP preferred.
• Active or eligible New Hampshire licensure for SLP.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred.
• Knowledge of IEPs, evaluations, eligibility, and school-based service delivery.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Good organization and time-management skills.
• Comfort with technology and documentation.
• Ability to complete required background clearances.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small-group speech-language therapy.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and intervention plans.
• Address articulation, phonology, receptive and expressive language, fluency, and social/pragmatic communication.
• Conduct evaluations and reevaluations and interpret assessment results.
• Collect data, monitor progress, and complete progress reports.
• Develop IEP documentation and participate in eligibility and IEP meetings.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, special education staff, and related-service providers.
• Provide classroom strategies and recommendations to support student communication.
• Complete required documentation and maintain accurate service records.
