Job summary

TheraPeds Partners in Kansas City, KS is hiring a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time, on-site role provides guaranteed hours and a supportive team to help students build communication skills.

You will deliver individual and group therapy, develop IEPs, conduct evaluations, collaborate with teachers and families, and maintain accurate documentation. The position offers W-2 benefits and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred.
• Active or eligible New Hampshire Speech-Language Pathologist licensure.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred.
• Knowledge of IEPs, evaluations, eligibility, and school-based service delivery.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Good organization and time-management skills.
• Comfort with technology and documentation.
• Ability to complete required background clearances.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small-group speech-language therapy
• Develop and implement IEP goals and intervention plans
• Address articulation, phonology, receptive and expressive language, fluency, social/pragmatic communication, and other communication needs
• Conduct evaluations and reevaluations and interpret assessment results
• Collect data, monitor progress, and complete progress reports
• Develop IEP documentation and participate in eligibility and IEP meetings
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, special education staff, and related-service providers
• Provide classroom strategies and recommendations to support student communication
• Complete required documentation and maintain accurate service records
