Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time school-based position in Wilmington, NC. You will deliver speech-language services to K-12 students, conduct assessments, and develop IEP goals in collaboration with educators and families.

CFs are encouraged to apply. Competitive pay up to $55/hour with benefits, 401(k) with match, mileage reimbursement, and licensure CEU reimbursement are provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold North Carolina SLP license or be eligible to obtain one.
• Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication and collaboration with educators and families.
• Experience in K-12 school settings preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy in a K-12 setting.
• Conduct assessments and write evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Support articulation, language, fluency, and social communication.
• Coordinate with teachers and families to promote carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
