Career Links is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist to join a school-based team for a full-time assignment. You will provide therapy services and support to students with communication challenges, working within IDEA/compliance frameworks.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in SLP or communication disorders
• Active state license or eligibility to practice as SLP
• State teaching credential or ability to obtain
• Valid driver’s license
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• CCC-SLP certification preferred
• Experience in public school settings or with IEPs
• Familiarity with Medicaid billing and compliance
• Cultural competency with diverse student populations
• CF supervision available for Clinical Fellows

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations in compliance with IDEA and state standards
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs
• Provide direct therapy and consultative services to students with speech and language impairments
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and service logs to ensure legal and ethical compliance
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other related service providers to support student goals
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and professional development activities
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic strategies and AAC technologies as applicable
• Support inclusive practices and adapt interventions for diverse student populations
• Provide training or guidance to classroom staff to generalize communication strategies
