Job summary

Career Links is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a full-time, school-based placement. You will deliver therapy services, support students with communication challenges, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to drive academic and social success.

You’ll work with mentors and CFs, have access to resources and manageable caseloads, and receive strong support throughout your placement. Benefits include a competitive pay scale and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• State Teaching Credential (or ability to obtain).
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations in compliance with IDEA and state standards.
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs.
• Provide direct therapy and consultative services to students with speech and language impairments.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and service logs to ensure legal and ethical compliance.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other related service providers to support student goals.
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and professional development activities.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic strategies and technologies, including AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication).
• Support inclusive practices and adapt interventions to diverse student populations.
• Provide training or guidance to classroom staff to generalize communication strategies.
