Job summary

TheraPeds Partners in Houston, TX is hiring a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time, on-site position offers guaranteed hours, a manageable caseload, and strong support from TheraPeds and the school district.

You'll provide individual and small-group therapy, develop IEP goals, conduct evaluations, collaborate with teachers and families, and maintain thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• CCC-SLP preferred
• Active or eligible New Hampshire Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Knowledge of IEPs, evaluations, eligibility, and school-based service delivery
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Good organization and time-management skills
• Comfort with technology and documentation
• Ability to complete required background clearances

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small-group speech-language therapy
• Develop and implement IEP goals and intervention plans
• Address articulation, phonology, receptive and expressive language, fluency, social/pragmatic communication, and other communication needs
• Conduct evaluations and reevaluations and interpret assessment results
• Collect data, monitor progress, and complete progress reports
• Develop IEP documentation and participate in eligibility and IEP meetings
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, special education staff, and related-service providers
• Provide classroom strategies and recommendations to support student communication
• Complete required documentation and maintain accurate service records
