Job summary

Amergis is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist for school settings who will evaluate students and provide therapy services according to each plan of care and physician orders. The role requires active licensure in the state, with CCC-SLP preferred and may be contractually required.

Qualifications

• Active SLP licensure in the assigned state required.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Perform student evaluations in the school setting.
• Provide and document therapy services per plan of care developed for each student.
• Follow physician orders and ensure compliance with the plan of care.
