Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a 2026–2027 school-year role in Waipahu, HI. The SLP will evaluate students, develop IEP-aligned treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy in a school-based setting, collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Hawaii licensure or eligibility is required, with expected duties including documentation, IEP participation, and supervision of SLPAs as applicable.

Qualifications

• Current Hawaii SLP license or eligibility to obtain before start.
• Ability to complete all required criminal background clearances.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Experience working with students in an educational setting.
• One or more years of school-based Speech-Language Pathology experience.
• Experience managing school-based caseloads and IEP compliance.
• Familiarity with student information and IEP documentation systems.
• Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary educational teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations to determine student needs and eligibility.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students.
• Complete and maintain accurate IEP and therapy documentation.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaborations.
• Consult with teachers, families, and school staff to support progress.
• Maintain therapy notes and progress reports with required documentation.
• Supervise SLPAs as applicable.
