Job summary

ProCare Therapy is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist near Fredericksburg, VA to support K-12 learners in a dynamic school setting. The role emphasizes collaboration with teachers, parents, and specialists to develop and implement IEPs.

Both seasoned SLPs and Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply; you will conduct assessments, create intervention plans, monitor progress, and document services while maintaining compliance with state and federal guidelines.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Active SLP license (or eligibility) in Virginia.
• CCC-SLP preferred, CFs encouraged to apply.
• School-based or pediatric experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Dedication to fostering positive student outcomes and inclusivity.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language services to K-12 students.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to develop and implement effective Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, create intervention plans, and monitor student progress
• Offer direct and consultative services as determined by student needs and caseload assignments
• Document services and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Communicate proactively with your team to provide the best possible support for students
