Job summary

ProCare Therapy in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support K-12 students in two schools. This full-time contract position covers maternity leaves and offers collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires SLP license in Virginia with CCC preferred; CFs welcomed. You will assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders, develop IEPs, and maintain progress records while using evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

• Requires valid SLP license in Virginia with CCC preferred.
• Experience in school-based settings is highly valued.
• Willingness to support K-12 students and collaborate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in students.
• Develop and implement IEPs with multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress records.
• Provide consultations to parents, teachers, and school staff.
• Use evidence-based practices to improve student outcomes.
• Cover two maternity leaves: late Dec/early Jan to early March, and mid-Nov to end of Mar.
