Job summary

Invo Healthcare, a leading therapy provider in school settings, seeks a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to join its Fredericksburg, VA team. The SLPA will implement therapy for school-aged children with speech and language needs and participate as part of the IEP team to support individualized education plans.

• Maintain records and collaborate with IEP team for student goals.

Responsibilities

• Implement SLP therapy for school-aged children with cognitive communication disorders.
• Serve as a member of the IEP Team for students with speech and language concerns.
• Facilitate goals and objectives per child’s educational plan.
• Maintain appropriate records.
• Work with school personnel and parents to develop appropriate programs.
• Perform other SLPA duties within licensure and certification requirements.
