Job summary

Ampersand Therapy LLC is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist for a school-based position in Chesterfield, SC. The role supports students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication in a K-12 setting, with supervision available for CFs.

Both full-time and part-time options are available, with competitive pay up to $55/hour. The role includes assessment, IEP goal development, collaboration with teachers and families, and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Valid South Carolina State SLP license (or ability to obtain).
• South Carolina Education Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• School-based experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services in a K-12 school setting.
• Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
