Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist for a school-based position in Greenwood, SC. You will provide speech-language services, conduct assessments, and develop IEP goals onsite to support student learning and communication.

We welcome both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows, with strong mentorship and a competitive pay rate up to $55/hour. Flexible full-time or part-time schedules, with benefits including liability insurance, healthcare, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Valid South Carolina SLP license (or ability to obtain).
• South Carolina Education Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• School-based experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services in a school setting.
• Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
