Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide direct services in a school setting. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat students, develop and implement IEPs, and collaborate with teachers and families to ensure communication goals are met.

The role emphasizes partnership with educators, ongoing documentation, and adherence to best practices in school-based speech-language pathology.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current licensure as an SLP or eligibility for state licensure
• CCC-SLP certification preferred
• School-based experience valued
• Strong communication, documentation, and organization skills
• Ability to develop individualized treatment plans for diverse students
• Compassionate, engaging approach with children, parents, and colleagues

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students individually and in small groups
• Screen, assess, and diagnose communication disorders
• Develop and implement IEPs with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and update reports
• Consult with teachers and parents to support generalization of skills
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute recommendations
• Stay current on best practices and evidence-based interventions in schools
