Job summary

RCM Healthcare Services is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide school-based therapy to students at a charter school in Detroit, MI. This is a W2 contract position with benefits offered. The SLP will evaluate, provide direct therapy, and support students’ communication goals.

Part-time option is 3 days per week (Wed, Thurs, Fri) and follows the academic calendar. Travel between school buildings is required, with opportunities for professional development and collaboration with

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• 60 semester hours in communication disorders as per MARSE.
• 300 clock hours of supervised practicum required.
• CCC/SLP Endorsement required; MI Teacher of S&L impairment preferred; CFY candidates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech-language evaluations and determine MARSE eligibility.
• Develop and manage student IEPs and assigned caseload.
• Provide therapy addressing articulation, language, voice, and fluency.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and intervention teams.
• Maintain documentation and compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.
• Travel between multiple school buildings as needed.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and demonstrate leadership.
