Job summary

RCM Healthcare Services in Westland, MI is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a school-based position. The SLP will conduct comprehensive evaluations for articulation, language, fluency, and social communication, interpret results, and develop evidence-based recommendations to support student learning and eligibility decisions.

Collaboration with teachers and families is essential. The role is onsite in a school setting with a 35–37.5 hour work week, a 3-month contract, and benefits

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current MI SLP license and CCC-SLP certification.
• Experience evaluating and treating students in school settings.
• Ability to develop and monitor IEP-aligned treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations for students.
• Interpret results and prepare written reports with findings and implications.
• Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans and service delivery models.
• Provide direct speech-language therapy services in line with IEP goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families on strategies.
• Maintain documentation per district/state guidelines.
