Legacy Charter Academy in Detroit, MI is seeking a part-time Speech Language Pathologist to support students in-person, hybrid, or virtually. The SLP will coordinate with the special education team to shape schedules and ensure effective language services for students K-8.

Qualifications

• Must hold a master’s degree in speech language pathology and an SLP license issued by the LARA.
• Candidates with experience working with at-risk students are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the special education teacher in forming daily schedules, testing schedules, and annual meetings.
• Provide current speech/language student lists to the special education teacher to maintain a master SP list.
• Support specially designed instruction to meet the unique needs of each child resulting from disability (resource/inclusion/pullout).
