Job summary

Clarifi Staffing Solutions seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for an elementary school in Detroit, MI. This full-time, school-based role focuses on direct therapy to support language development and active classroom participation.

The position requires developing IEP goals, coordinating with teachers and families, and maintaining accurate progress data. Michigan licensure and CCC-SLP are preferred, with potential extension into the 2026–2027 year.

Qualifications

• ASHA CCC-SLP is highly preferred.
• Active Michigan State License to practice Speech-Language Pathology (required prior to start date).
• Strong organizational abilities, excellent verbal/written communication, and ability to connect with elementary-age students and advocate for them.
• Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-impact, direct speech and language therapy to elementary students while managing essential tracking and documentation for student success.
• Design and implement meaningful IEP goals and targeted intervention strategies tailored to each child’s communication needs.
• Foster strong partnerships with classroom teachers, school leadership, and families to reinforce communication milestones across all settings.
• Keep precise data logs, progress reports, and therapy notes, and contribute insights during collaborative IEP team discussions.
