Responsibilities

Pay Rate: $40 per hour

Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00A-3:00P

Position Requirements

• At least 1 year Experience Required.
• Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other specialists and adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care.
• Provide 1:1 care for elementary school age child with profound medical condition and continuous oxygen therapy during the 2026-2027 school year.
• Child has minimal verbal communication.
• Assignment is Monday-Friday for the entire school year.
• Will accompany child through school day including class, library, cafeteria, recess.
• Continuous monitoring of airway and distress.
• Reports any change in physical status of patient.
• Responds quickly in any circumstance and cares for patients professionally and courteously.

Credential Requirements (to be verified after interview)

• Active LA RN License
• Active BLS Certification
• Current TB Skin Test, Quantiferon Results, or Chest X-Ray
• Hep B (or declination)
