Job summary

HealthPRO Pediatrics, a division of HealthPro Heritage, is seeking a part-time School Registered Nurse (RN) in Colorado Springs, CO. The role offers 20 hours per week with compensation of $45-$47 per hour and a W-2 employment setup.

You will provide direct nursing support to students in a school-based setting, manage health needs during the school day, maintain required documentation, and communicate with families and school staff to sustain a safe learning environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current license to practice in the state of residence/state of placement.
• Have successful experience working with culturally diverse families.
• Assumes responsibility for ongoing continuing education and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Consult and collaborate with School staff and families in regards to students' health and wellness.
• Participate in the IEP process in developing present levels of performance, goals and objectives, and treatment recommendations for students qualifying for nursing services
• Provide nursing services through the use of current best practices based on prescribed services in the IEP
• Maintain all documentation required by the district and ASHA's code of ethics including, but not limited to, daily notes, monthly summaries, and annual IEP's
