Job summary

Applied ABC is seeking a compassionate Substitute Floater Registered Behavior Technician to support ABA therapy under the supervision of a BCBA. You will work with children with autism and other developmental disabilities across district schools.

The role involves implementing BIPs, providing one-to-one or classroom therapy, and collecting progress data while communicating with teachers and BCBA staff. Familiarity with educational settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• College degree (Associates, Bachelors, Masters) or minimum 48 college credits.
• RBT certification required.
• Experience with autism and developmental disabilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in an educational setting.
• Ability to follow instructions and implement behavior plans.
• Experience with crisis behavior management (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Substitute/float to different schools within the district.
• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by the BCBA.
• Provide direct one-on-one or classroom therapy.
• Assist students in engaging and participating in class.
• Collect and record data on client progress.
• Communicate with teachers, BCBAs, and other staff regarding client progress and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
