Job summary

Applied ABC is seeking a compassionate Substitute Floater Registered Behavior Technician to support students with autism across Hawaii DOE districts, working within the Central, Windward, Maui, and Kauai districts. Hours typically run from 7:30am to 3:45pm, with placement depending on school schedules.

You will work under a BCBA supervision to implement plans, provide direct one-on-one or classroom therapy, and help students engage in class activities while collecting progress data and

Qualifications

• Associates/Bachelors/Masters or 48 college credits required.
• RBT certification required.
• Experience with children with autism and developmental disabilities preferred.
• Experience in an educational setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.
• Ability to follow instructions and implement behavior plans.
• Crisis behavior management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Substitute/Float to different schools within the district.
• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by the BCBA.
• Provide direct one-on-one or classroom therapy.
• Assist students in engaging and participating in class.
• Collect and record data on client progress.
• Communicate with teachers, BCBAs, and other staff regarding progress and plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
