Job summary

Applied ABC in Hawaii seeks a Substitute Floater Registered Behavior Technician to support students with autism and other developmental disabilities. You will work under BCBA supervision, delivering ABA therapy and implementing BIPs in multiple schools across the district.

This role requires a college degree or 48 credits, RBT certification, and experience in educational settings. Strong communication and teamwork are essential; crisis management experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• College degree (Associates, Bachelors, Masters) or minimum of 48 college credits.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
• Experience working with children with autism and developmental disabilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in an educational setting.
• Ability to follow instructions and implement behavior plans.
• Experience with crisis behavior management (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Substitute/Float to different schools within the district.
• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by the BCBA.
• Provide direct one-on-one or classroom therapy.
• Assist students in engaging and participating in class.
• Collect and record data on client progress.
• Communicate with teachers, BCBAs, and other staff regarding client progress and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
