Job summary

RCM Healthcare Services is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for onsite roles in Oahu, Hawaii. In this position, you will provide one-to-one behavioral support services to students with IEPs under the direction of a Licensed Behavior Analyst. Responsibilities include implementing ABA strategies, collecting behavioral data, and collaborating with educational teams. The role offers comprehensive benefits and a school-year contract.

Ideal candidates will hold an Associate's degree and an active RBT certification, with strong communication and empathy skills to support students effectively.

Qualifications

• Required: Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

Responsibilities

• Implement student IEPs and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) using ABA strategies with fidelity.
• Assist teachers and collaborate with educational and behavioral teams to support classroom and school routines.
• Provide one-to-one behavioral support services to students in educational settings.
• Accurately collect, graph, and maintain student behavioral data.
• Utilize QBS Safety Care de-escalation strategies and physical management techniques when necessary for safety.
• Attend and participate in individual and group supervision sessions to maintain BACB compliance requirements.
• Support students in achieving behavioral, social, and educational goals.
• Participate in trainings, meetings, and additional duties as assigned.

Skills

Knowledge of ABA strategies and behavior intervention techniques

Strong empathy and understanding of developmental stages and student behavioral needs

Ability to collaborate effectively with educational and behavioral support teams

Strong communication, organization, and data collection skills

Ability to physically support students and participate in active classroom environments
