Job summary

Forte Behavioral Health LLC is seeking a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students in a West Los Angeles school setting. The role requires an RBT certification and a commitment to helping children with behavioral challenges.

Responsibilities include implementing BIPs, collecting progress data, and collaborating with teachers and BCBA/Behavior Specialist. Competitive pay and growth opportunities are offered; schedule is Mon-Fri during daytime hours per LAUSD calendars.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• RBT certification required; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong English proficiency; basic math understanding.
• Prior experience with children preferred; willing to work in schools.
• Able to work with children and adolescents with behavioral challenges.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by BCBA or Behavior Specialist.
• Provide direct support to students with behavioral challenges in various school settings.
• Use positive behavior support techniques and reinforcement to teach replacement behaviors.
• Collect data on student behavior and progress using data collection tools.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff for cohesive student support.
• Communicate with BCBA/Behavior Specialist about progress and concerns.
• Attend team meetings and participate in planning and review of BIPs.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
