Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Strong proficiency in English, grammar, spelling, and reading comprehension.
• Basic understanding of mathematics.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Physically fit to actively participate in classroom and playground.
• Previous experience working with children.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by a BCBA or Behavior Specialist.
• Provide direct support to students with behavioral challenges in various settings (classroom, playground, cafeteria).
• Use positive behavior support techniques to teach replacement behaviors and social skills.
• Collect data on student behavior and progress using behavior tracking systems.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to create a cohesive support system.
• Communicate with the BCBA regarding progress and updates on interventions.
• Attend team and student support meetings to contribute to plan development.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in behavior intervention.
