Job summary

Care Options for Kids is seeking a School-Based Registered Behavior Technician to support students in a school setting. You will work one-on-one or with small groups to reinforce positive behaviors, implement behavior support plans, and monitor progress toward IEP/504 goals.

The role requires an active RBT credential and at least 2 years of experience with children, preferably with special needs. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in ongoing training and

Qualifications

• RBT credential with active certificate.
• Minimum of 2 years experience working with children, preferably with special needs.
• Ability to work within a team and demonstrate leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Exhibits positive and proactive approaches to problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Works with clients, consultants, staff, families, and community to implement Students behavior support plan.
• Adheres to the RBT ethics requirements.
• Responds to and manages crisis situations as directed in the IEP.
• Completes daily paperwork and data collection notes in a detailed and timely manner.
• Observes, records, and reports client behavior and daily progress.
• Understands and applies each child's IEP.
• Renews credential as required by BCBA guidelines annually.
