Job summary

Nyman Associates is seeking a School-Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students with autism and other developmental or behavioral needs under supervision. This role involves direct behavioral support in a school setting, one-on-one and classroom-based, with ABA strategies and data collection.

Requirements include an active RBT certification or in-process BACB RBT exam, and a high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s in psychology, education, or related field is

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification through BACB required or currently preparing for the BACB RBT exam.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred.
• Experience with ASD or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and classroom-based behavioral support to students.
• Implement ABA strategies and interventions.
• Support skill acquisition and positive behavior development.
• Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and positive support plans.
• Collect behavioral data and monitor student progress; collaborate with teachers, therapists, BCBAs, and school team members.
• Maintain accurate session documentation and records.
• Support students’ educational, social, and behavioral goals within the school environment.
