Care Options for Kids is seeking a School-Based Registered Behavior Technician to support students in a school setting. The role involves one-on-one or small-group work, implementing behavior support plans, and reporting progress toward IEP/504 goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with children, preferably with special needs.
• Active RBT credential and certification.
• Strong teamwork and leadership abilities.
• Proactive problem-solving approach to challenges.

Responsibilities

• Works with clients, consultants, staff, families, and community to implement students' behavior support plan.
• Adheres to the RBT ethics requirements.
• Responds to and manages crisis situations as directed in the IEP.
• Completes daily paperwork and data collection notes accurately and timely.
• Observes and reports the condition and behavior of clients, maintaining daily records.
• Becomes fluent in the understanding and application of each child’s IEP.
• Renews credential as required by BCBA guidelines annually.
