Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support children with Autism and other developmental disabilities. This role offers part-time hours with flexible scheduling, where you will work directly in local school settings on the Big Island.

Ideal candidates will have their RBT certification or a desire to pursue it, facilitated by BAYADA. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and employee appreciation events.

Qualifications

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certified or the desire to pursue certification.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction procedures.
• Establish supportive relationships with clients.
• Document interventions and assess progress.
• Monitor health status and report changes.

Skills

Experience working with children with developmental/intellectual disabilities

Education

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree

48 college credits including Math 100 and English 100

Passage of the ParaPro Praxis Assessment
