Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a School Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support children with Autism and other developmental disabilities in Hilo, Hawaii. This role involves working directly with clients in school settings to implement behavior therapy techniques and support their learning.

Preferred candidates are RBT Certified or are interested in obtaining certification. Part-time positions are available with flexible scheduling and benefits including health insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certified or desire to pursue certification.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience with special needs children is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with clients on treatment plans.
• Establish effective therapeutic relationships.
• Implement behavior therapy techniques in school environments.

Skills

Experience working with children with developmental/intellectual disabilities

Ability to establish effective therapeutic relationships

Education

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or 48 college credits including Math 100 and English 100
