Job summary

East Granby Public Schools is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct behavioral support under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement individualized plans, collect data, and collaborate with teachers and staff to support inclusive learning.

The successful candidate will be certified as an RBT in good standing with BACB and have experience delivering behavioral strategies in a public school setting, with an anticipated start date in August 2026.

Qualifications

• Must be certified as an RBT (BACB) in good standing.
• Experience implementing behavioral strategies in a public school.
• Ability to collect and document data on behavior and progress.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans under BCBA supervision.
• Provide direct behavioral support to students in general and special education settings.
• Collect, maintain, and analyze daily behavior data aligned to IEP goals.
• Collaborate with teachers and paras to integrate strategies in routines.
• Apply crisis prevention and safe de‑escalation protocols when needed.
• Support generalization of social, emotional, and communication skills.
