Job summary

Granby Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support our students and implement ABA-based interventions under BCBA supervision.

This 10-month position runs 8:15 am–3:15 pm, $28.00–$32.00 per hour, with responsibilities including data collection, collaboration with educators and families, and promoting communication and independence for students with diverse needs.

Qualifications

• Current RBT certification through BACB required.
• High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, behavioral science, or related field preferred.
• Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or behavioral needs preferred.
• Knowledge of ABA principles and behavior support strategies.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior support plans and ABA-based interventions under BCBA supervision.
• Provide direct student support in classroom and school settings.
• Teach and reinforce communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Collect, record, and monitor behavioral data and progress.
• Identify patterns in behavior and communicate observations to supervising staff.
• Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families.
