Job summary

LEARN is looking for a Registered Behavior Technician at The Friendship School in Waterford, Connecticut for the 2026-2027 school year. Candidates will provide services to students, supervising them and implementing behavior programs as needed.

The ideal candidate will hold a BACB Registered Behavior Technician certification and have experience working with children facing emotional and behavioral challenges. A supportive work environment is offered with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current BACB Registered Behavior Technician certification.
• Preferred experience working with children with emotional/behavioral challenges.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare instructional settings and materials for students.
• Supervise and assist students in educational programs.
• Implement and modify behavior change programs.

Skills

Experience with children with autism

Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Effective communication skills

Education
