Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Collect and record data on student behaviors, progress, and program effectiveness.
  • Assist in conducting behavior assessments and provide input on behavior interventions.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students in various educational settings.
  • Use evidence-based behavioral strategies such as reinforcement, prompting, and task analysis to address student needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and other support staff to ensure consistency in behavior support across environments.
  • Attend training sessions and professional development to maintain RBT certification.
  • Maintain open communication with the supervising BCBA and school personnel to provide updates on student progress.
  • Assist with crisis intervention and use approved physical management techniques when necessary.
  • Support social and academic inclusion efforts for students with disabilities.
  • Adhere to Ipswich Public Schools policies, procedures, and confidentiality guidelines.
