Job summary
A community service organization in Wenham, MA seeks a Registered Behavior Technician to provide essential support in residential programs. You will assist in delivering behavior analytics under the guidance of an RBT supervisor. The role involves skills training, data collection, and providing support to individuals with developmental disabilities. Candidates are required to have a minimum of a High School Diploma, current RBT certification, and at least 1 year of relevant experience. Qualifications
A minimum of 1 year of experience working with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities is preferred.
Responsibilities
Provide support and assist individuals with skills training in activities of daily living.
Participate in delivering behavior analytic services and support.
Meet regularly with RBT supervisor to review behavior plans.
Create opportunities and support individuals to foster independence.
Provide services according to applicable standards and policies.
Transport and accompany individuals to activities as needed.
Maintain required documentation as per standards.
Assist individuals with accessing community resources.
Administer medications according to MAP regulations.
Maintain core training certifications as required.
Develop positive relationships with guardians and stakeholders.
Skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Valid driver's license and minimum of one year of driving experience
Computer literacy with Microsoft products
Education
High School Diploma or GED
Associate's Degree or DSP Certification
Registered Behavior Technician certification
