Job summary

Norwalk Public Schools seeks a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) paraeducator to work under supervision to implement ABA-based IEP goals for students with special needs. You will assist with data collection, behavior interventions, and collaboration with teachers and BCBA supervision throughout the school day.

The role supports students in general and special education settings, promoting safe, respectful classroom behavior and adherence to district policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent.
• Two+ years under BCBA supervision and RBT certification.
• Background in applying ABA principles and IEP goals.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized interventions and ABA-based goals.
• Assist in data collection and progress monitoring.
• Support students in general or special education settings.
• Record and review progress data for instructional planning.
