Coastal Horizons Center, Inc. in Pender County, NC seeks a Qualified Professional – School-Based to join our Child & Adolescent Day Treatment team.

The role provides individual and group therapy in school and community settings, supporting behavioral functioning and educational success. You will develop Person-Centered Plans, facilitate Child and Family Team meetings, collaborate with families and schools, provide psychoeducation on mental health and substance use, and maintain precise clinical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field is required.
• Minimum two years post‑bachelor’s experience with a mental health population.
• Two years of documented experience with children, adolescents, and families.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapeutic and skill-building interventions in school and community settings.
• Support behavioral functioning, coping skills, social skills, and educational success.
• Develop and implement Person-Centered Plans.
• Facilitate Child and Family Team meetings.
• Collaborate with families, schools, treatment providers, and community partners.
• Provide psychoeducation related to mental health and substance use.
• Monitor client progress and coordinate transitions to appropriate services.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Perform approved physical restraints when clinically necessary and in accordance with required training and organizational policy.
