Job summary

Family of Kidz is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to support students across Long Island. Part-time, hourly positions with potential full-time based on caseload; hours Monday-Friday following the school calendar.

The role includes collaborating with DPT, documenting progress, attending CSE meetings, data collection on IEP goals, and creating schedules with families and school staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current New York State PTA license.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with DPT to design and implement therapeutic interventions.
• Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators for case management.
• Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain a schedule with assigned families/school personnel.
• Collect data on IEP goals and report progress quarterly.
• Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.
