Job summary

Family of Kidz in New York is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide therapy services for children on a flexible, part-time basis with potential for full-time hours as caseload allows.

Responsibilities include designing and implementing therapeutic interventions, performing evaluations, collaborating with coordinators, and attending CPSE/CSE meetings; strong communication and time management are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited university with a degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current New York State Physical Therapy License (DPT).
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement creative individual therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
• Administer and write up physical therapy evaluations.
• Ongoing communication with coordinators and Hawthorne Director
• Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain a schedule for assigned students
• Collect data on each IFSP/IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly.
• Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CPSE/CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.
• Collaborate with other professionals including BCBAs, Special Educators, Behavior Technicians, and other Related Service Providers
