Qualifications

• Master's, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement issued by ISBE.
• Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and MTSS frameworks.
• Strong assessment, report-writing, and consultation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations and reevaluations for special education and Section 504 considerations.
• Administer, score, and interpret psychological, educational, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments.
• Prepare written evaluation reports and present findings to multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in IEP and 504 meetings with recommendations based on data.
• Collaborate with a school psychology partner to support referrals and intervention planning.
• Engage in MTSS, problem-solving teams, and data review meetings.
• Consult with teachers, administrators, related services, and families about student needs.

Position Overview

The School Psychologist will play a key role in supporting students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success through comprehensive evaluation services and collaborative problem-solving. This position focuses primarily on completing initial evaluations and reevaluations for special education and Section 504 eligibility determinations while partnering closely with another school psychologist to support student intervention and data-based decision-making processes.

• Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations and reevaluations for students referred for special education services and Section 504 accommodations.
• Administer, score, and interpret psychological, educational, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments.
• Prepare written evaluation reports and present findings to multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in IEP and 504 meetings, providing recommendations based on assessment data.
• Collaborate with a school psychologist partner to support referrals, intervention planning, and student services.
• Participate in MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports), problem-solving teams, and data review meetings.
• Consult with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families regarding student needs and interventions.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district timelines and documentation requirements.
• Support data-driven decision-making to improve student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement issued by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE).
• Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, special education procedures, and MTSS frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a school setting.
• Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations across diverse student populations.
• Familiarity with Illinois special education regulations and compliance requirements.
