Career Links is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to join a collaborative school team for the 2026–2027 school year in Huntley, Illinois. The position focuses on evaluating students for special education and Section 504 and coordinating with a partner to support interventions.

You will conduct assessments, prepare reports, participate in IEP/504 meetings, and help drive data‑driven decisions to improve student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement (ISBE).
• Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and MTSS frameworks.
• Strong assessment, report-writing, and consultation skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations and reevaluations for students referred for special education services and Section 504 accommodations.
• Administer, score, and interpret psychological, educational, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments.
• Prepare written evaluation reports and present findings to multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in IEP and 504 meetings, providing recommendations based on assessment data.
• Collaborate with a school psychologist partner to support referrals, intervention planning, and student services.
• Participate in MTSS, problem-solving teams, and data review meetings.
• Consult with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families regarding student needs and interventions.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district timelines and documentation requirements.
• Support data-driven decision-making to improve student outcomes.

Position Overview

The School Psychologist will play a key role in supporting students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success through comprehensive evaluation services and collaborative problem-solving. This position focuses primarily on completing initial evaluations and reevaluations for special education and Section 504 eligibility determinations while partnering closely with another school psychologist to support student intervention and data-based decision-making processes.

Qualifications
