Job summary

Career Links is seeking a qualified School Psychologist for the 2026–2027 school year. The role supports students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success through comprehensive evaluations and close collaboration with a school psychologist partner.

Responsibilities include conducting initial evaluations and reevaluations for special education and Section 504 eligibility, preparing reports, presenting findings to multidisciplinary teams, and supporting MTSS and data-driven decision

Qualifications

  • Master's, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Valid Illinois PEL with School Psychologist endorsement issued by ISBE.
  • Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, MTSS frameworks and procedures.
  • Strong assessment, report-writing, and consultation skills.

  • Administer, score, and interpret psychological, educational, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments.
  • Prepare written evaluation reports and present findings to multidisciplinary teams.

  • Collaborate with a school psychologist partner to support referrals, intervention planning, and student services.
  • Participate in MTSS, problem-solving teams, and data review meetings.
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families regarding student needs and interventions.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district timelines and documentation requirements.
  • Support data-driven decision-making to improve student outcomes.

Position Overview

The School Psychologist will play a key role in supporting students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success through comprehensive evaluation services and collaborative problem-solving. This position focuses primarily on completing initial evaluations and reevaluations for special education and Section 504 eligibility determinations while partnering closely with another school psychologist to support student intervention and data-based decision-making processes.

Qualifications
  • Master's, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a school setting.
