Job summary

Communities In Schools of Tennessee (CISTN) is a nonprofit partner with K-12 public schools to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. This role places program managers in schools across the state to provide school-wide interventions and case-managed services.

Based in Putnam County, TN, the Program Manager will lead a school support team, develop plans, monitor progress, manage budgets, and advocate for students and families,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree preferred in relevant field.
• Four to eight years of direct experience acceptable in lieu of formal education.
• Must have valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct services to students and families, including counseling, student support, youth development, and resource development practices.
• Lead school-wide interventions and case managed services with school support teams and partners.
• Develop and implement a school support plan with measurable objectives for Tier I–III services.
• Monitor and adjust services to maximize effectiveness and impact with regular progress reporting.
• Manage an annual discretionary budget for school support plans.
